Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School - Sunbury/Diggers Rest

Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School aims to provide a quality, individualised, faith-based education. The name Holy Trinity represents community, unity, diversity and inclusion. These are the values we uphold amongst our school community.

Today, the Year 5 and 6 children from Holy Trinity participated in the SPSSA Winter Sports competitions in Netball, T-ball, Soccer and Football teams. Well done to the children for representing the Holy Trinity community admirably by displaying great collaboration and integrity. A huge thank you to Mr Cashen, Mrs Smith, Miss McKeown, Miss Borg, Mr Fletcher, Mrs Ferraro, Mrs Bretag and to parents that helped out on the day.#htsunbury #faithhopeunity #TogetherAsOne #spssawintersports ... Stage 3 Update The learning building has certainly taken shape with brickwork now commencing. The extension to the administration area is moving along and you can start to see where the new entrance is going to be. It was important to the school to relocate the office to the front of our school, to provide a welcoming entrance and as we are first and foremost a Catholic school, have a street frontage with Catholic significance to contribute to our identity, mission, and the formation of children in the Catholic faith.#htsunbury #faithhopeunity #TogetherAsOne #stage3 #clarkehopkinsclarke #raysettconstruction #melbournecatholicschools ... Today, the Year 5 children were fortunate to have Scott from Nudel Kart visit and speak to them about deconstructing mobile play carts and transforming classrooms into dynamic learning spaces. The children explored the Holy Trinity Touchstones of Collaboration, Persistence, and Creativity. Throughout the session, the environment was safe, inclusive, and respectful, allowing each student to thrive in the design process. This experience helped students develop social skills, problem solving abilities, and innovative thinking. Each build required them to collaborate with different classmates to create a variety of items in unstructured play.We would like to thank Scott for providing an engaging and memorable experience. #htsunbury #faithhopeunity #TogetherAsOne #LearningInAction #nudelkart #melbournecatholicschools ... Today, the Year 6 children were fortunate to have Kerry, Michelle, Anthony and Daniel from SES Sunbury Unit come and speak to them about the response they serve in our community with a focus on natural disasters. The SES play a crucial role in disaster response and rescue efforts, often serving on the front lines, providing immediate assistance to those affected by natural disasters. Their contributions can range from search and rescue operations to distributing food, water, and medical supplies, as well as providing emotional support to survivors. The children were able to explore the tools the SES have and role play some situations where they would use those tools. We are thankful for this hands on experience which complements the Year 6 learning. #htsunbury #faithhopeunity #TogetherAsOne #LearningInAction #naturaldisasters #ses ...
