DISCOVERY
The teaching of Discovery at Holy Trinity is based on an inquiry pedagogical model. Children draw on their prior knowledge, pose questions, participate in hands-on experiences, and conduct investigations, to develop their own explanations. Children are actively engaged in the learning process. Children develop inquiry skills to develop an understanding of the curriculum content.
Children participate in a Discovery Unit each term and it is chosen from the Victorian Curriculum.
