On Monday, Year 3 children had the opportunity to visit Salesian College Sunbury. The excursion provided our children with valuable hands-on learning experiences that complemented their classroom curriculum.![]()
During their time there, the Year 3s were able to visit the farm, where they met some of the cows and sheep. They also had the chance to explore the garden patch, where they discovered various plants and vegetables, fostering an appreciation for nature and the environment. The students even helped the College out by doing some weeding and preparing a garden bed for planting. One of the highlights of the trip was the opportunity to explore some areas of the Mansion, immersing themselves in the rich history and heritage of the College. ![]()
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the staff and Year 12 students at Salesian College for their warm hospitality and for organising such a memorable and enriching experience for our students. We honour the values that have been invested in the original Anzacs – loyalty, selflessness, courage – and the ways in which later generations have measured their own achievements against those of the soldiers who fought on Gallipoli.![]()
