Our Approach To Learning and Teaching

As a new learning community, we will be focussed on providing exciting opportunities to enable children to fulfil their true potential, realise and develop their gifts, build positive self-esteem, resilience and a close relationship with God.

I am passionate and have a vested interest in nurturing an innovative learning environment, that caters for the diverse needs of ALL students, ensuring that ALL achievements are celebrated. The dignity of each human person is of the upmost importance to our community at Holy Trinity.

Children also need opportunities to acquire confidence in their own ability and develop their independence as they continue to be life-long learners. All teachers at Holy Trinity will work with our students to develop the skills that are required to participate and contribute in the 21^st Century society. Our approach will be based on promoting a quality learning environment that is challenging and engaging, encourages learners to think deeply and develops students’ abilities to problem solve, analyse and create.

Children learn most successfully through being actively involved, seeing themselves being successful, and where the learning environment is continually challenging and interesting. It is vital to have students actively involved in shaping their learning journey, where they can harness community support and build relationships with the local community. This also allows students to make connections to real life experiences. This will equip our students with life long skills that will enable them to be an active faith citizen in our society.
